CHRISTMAS PARTY 08

 

We had our Christmas 08 party on the 6th of December 08 at the ATC hall, Wimbledon.

It was a great success. There were around 80 yogis and their partners/children. We ordered the indian vegetarian rice and curry from a private Srilankan caterer! And some of the yogic communities brought some indian vegetarian dishes as well, and Nadia brought her famous salad.

For desert we had around 12 cakes made by members of our community and 3 of them were vegan cakes and there was a filipino cake as well. And the big hit was home made ice cream by Sabine.

For entertainment first we had Caroline and her partner Andy entertained us with their music talent.

It was beautiful to watch their performance and the hall was so quite and mesmerised.

After them it was Jeremy's turn to entertain us with his piano . As usual it was a great performance.

The yoga demonstration began with Nadia's very advanced headstand hand variations followed by Jeremy balanced and hand balanced variation.

Elizabeth and Ruth thrilled us with their amazing back bend demonstration.

In the end it was Sabin's turn to demonstrate, and it was a demonstration the audiance will never forget!! She was simply amazing!!!!

It just so happened that we had 3 of the yogi's birthday was in December (Lisa, Caroline and Amenda), so we cut the cakes and celebrated their birthday. Also we cut a cake Over all It was a great christmas party.... Thank you all yogis and your families !!!
